Papers Submitted in the field of glaciology and related earth sciences
There are no page charges for publication in Jökull for these papers, except for colour illustrations, and authors receive a minimum of 10 reprints free of charge. Additional reprints may be ordered when galley proofs are returned to the editor. Iceland Glaciological Society covers the publication charges of these papers.
Papers Submitted in other fields of the life sciences
The authors of the rest of papers are charged in case of acceptance based upon the paper length, pictures, tables and etc.
